Travel options from Rustenburg to Cape Town
By plane: Given the distance of 1,390km between these two cities, flying is the most viable option. Take a bus or a taxi (minibus) from Rustenburg to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport, which should take you around two hours. Once there, flights to Cape Town take around two hours. Driving is only an option if you wish to stop and spend the night somewhere along the way.
England will then travel from Cape Town for their final group match against Slovenia in the Port Elizabeth Stadium.

By plane: You can take flights from Cape Town International to Port Elizabeth. The flight time is 1hr10min.
By car: This is the most advisable option, given the breathtaking 'Garden' route between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth - one of the most beautiful routes in South Africa. Though an eight-hour drive and a total distance of 756km, you will be rewarded by passing through towns such as Knysna, Jeffreys Bay and Plettenberg Bay.
